StudioMemory Pro is a powerful tool designed to help makers and creators easily maintain a searchable collection of their creative works, with photos and important details. The collection is locally stored on Apple devices, and optional use of Apple’s iCloud service can sync the collection across devices.
2. Creating and Managing Your Collection
To start creating your collection, add a new work with photos and details. Each work is automatically assigned a unique ID (e.g. ABC123XY), which can be used to quickly locate and identify the work in your collection.
On Mac: Press Command + N or select File > New Work.
On iPhone/iPad: Tap the + (Plus) icon at the top of your collection.
Give your work a title and a creation date. You can also mark the work as a “Favorite” (using the Heart icon) to keep it accessible in filtered views.
Status: You can include information about the status of each work.
Changes: You can change the information about each work at any time.
Searching: You can search the collection using full text search, and you can narrow a search using filters.
Sorting: You can organize your collection by Newest, Oldest, or Title (A-Z / Z-A) to easily browse large collections.
Batch Actions: You can use the “Select” button to manage multiple works simultaneously.
3. The Photo Gallery
Each work has a photo gallery which you can manage using various tools.
Limits: Each work can have up to six photos. Photos can be included when a work is added to your collection or afterwards.
Adding Photos: On iPhone/iPad, add photos via your camera, library, or files. On Mac, select photos from your library or files, or drag and drop photos from other apps, Finder or Desktop.
Primary Photo: The first photo in the gallery acts as the thumbnail for the main browser.
Changes: Use a manage photos feature to add, change, or reorder the photos on the gallery.
Full Screen: Tap any photo to view it in higher resolution.
Save to Photos: StudioMemory Pro optimizes each photo for performance. An optional setting allows photos taken within StudioMemory Pro to be saved in their original format to your device’s Photo library.
4. Tracking Status
Each work has a “status” - Available, Sold, Not for Sale.
An optional setting shows the status of each work in your collection.
The status of a work determines the kinds of information you can record about the work. For example, setting a work as “Sold” unlocks additional fields.
You can change the status of a work at any time.
5. Working Faster with Quick Details™
QuickDetails™ is an optional, easy-to-use way to create reusable and changeable prompts for adding repetitive details to notes about a work.
How to Use: Tap the QuickDetails icon next to any notes field to display prompts for details to insert into the notes.
Flexibility: Once you create a prompt, it will display each time you choose to use the QuickDetails feature until you change or delete it.
6. Printing/Exporting and Portability
Your data belongs to you, and StudioMemory Pro provides tools to share and protect your data.
PDFs: You can generate a printable and shareable PDF of one or more works with all details and photos.
Export Data: You can export a Zip file with all details and full-size photos.
Full Archive: You can create a complete archive of all works in industry-standard formats.
7. Customizing Your Experience
You can use the Settings menu to customize your use of StudioMemory Pro:
Status Badges: You can choose to display status badges on your works.

The 30-Day Rule: When you move a work to the Trash, it will be stored for 30 days before automatic deletion.
Archive and Restore: You can create archives of all works and photos and later restore them.
9. Licensing and Limits
Licensing: A free license allows up to 15 works; a paid license allows up to 10,000 works.
New Devices: Use the “Restore Purchases” button to reactivate your license.
